Just two years since taking to lutherie full time Dean has designed and handmade over 100 hundred guitars, and is steadily gaining a worldwide reputation for the quality and skill of his designs and builds.
He’s latest master-built is a 40 THOUSAND MATCHSTICK GUITAR!! All handmade.
While Dean currently specialises in vintage guitars he has a number of original designs in the pipelines. Having sold the first prototype of his Luminescent Guitar and Bass, to American Hip Hop artist B.o.B, Dean has been working on a number of exciting and relevant designs which will be realised in his new line of Fraser Guitars imminently.
Dean sees the guitar as a canvas and nature as his inspiration: “The aesthetics of the piece must resonate with playability and the quality of the sound. Ensuring the guitars I design and build have a practical application is a priority.” As such, each of Dean’s guitars are not only a visual work of art, they have the ultimate tone and build quality which every guitarist coverts.
Each of Dean’s aged guitars are hand made to replicate the appeal of the popular vintage vibe. While staying true to the original, Dean remains a wealth of knowledge regarding the specification of each of his guitars. All custom builds seek to balance customer specifications with Dean’s extensive knowledge and experience.
Using a blend of modern and traditional guitar building techniques Dean, a highly skilled craftsman, works independently to ensure that each guitar attains his standard of excellence.
