Despite the progress that goes by leaps and bounds literally in every sphere, most of all in our days natural and organic is valued. Even such a phenomenon as detox is now known to almost everyone. Eco-friendly interior is a kind of detox for the soul. This is a place where you can really relax, gain new strength, find harmony with yourself and the world around you.
The principle of environmentally friendly interior
First of all, it should be said that an environmentally friendly interior is not so much a stylistic trend as a separate movement aimed at creating the most environmentally friendly and emotionally relaxing situation in the house. So, it does not matter if you live in a country cottage or a small city apartment, you can always create your own personal “oasis” of tranquility. Of course, such styles as art deco, hi-tech or fusion can conflict with the idea of eco-interior, but rather because of the materials used, than because of philosophical considerations (although not without it). However, fashionable, modern styles, for example, Scandinavian or loft, may well be consistent in the rules of an environmentally friendly interior. What specific rules are involved – read on.

Use of natural materials
This is one of the basic and immutable rules of eco-style. Here, by definition, toxic, hypothetical and actually hazardous to human health materials can not be present. Moreover, it is recommended to choose furniture and finish with the most natural texture.
The layout, which allows breathing freely
Extra and optional partitions, partitions and obstacles from furniture “eat” space and do not allow free movement around the house. At the same time, a competent, free planning with visual zoning (where it does not contradict personal requirements and common sense), makes the interior of the house more light and pleasant for life. Feel free to get rid of unnecessary details and this will allow you to concentrate on the main and important.
Light, natural colors
A natural palette is always pleasant to the eye and calm, light colors help to relax. Very good here is the “white” finish – not for nothing that the Scandinavians like. But if the white interior seems to you too sterile and boring, you can dilute the decoration with brighter accents or take as a basis another color, say, pastel blue, soft yellow, light pink, gray, cream or sand.

Home plants in the role of decor
The main decor in an environmentally friendly interior is home plants and living greens. In addition, that it is beautiful and brings us closer to nature, flowers also purify the air. Well, one can not help saying that today it is very fashionable to decorate rooms with pottery “pets”.
And, of course, the eco-style is, first of all, clean in its most direct sense.
