Pedro Penã’s firm has been recognized for its style, attention to detail and the essence of where the inspiration for their projects came from: the interior design in Marbella, where Pedro Penã spent a quite a few years in the 70’s developing his talent and passion into something greater.
We celebrate not only the spaces where this firm is represented, such as the showroom, studio, art gallery and others, but also the projects developed so far, not only residential but also public projects, such as hotels.
We could never attempt to show you a Pedro Penã’s interior design project without art being involved. It’s part of his identity and we couldn’t be more accepting of it. Adding art on little details is what creates a strong personality in a room, an identity of its own, a statement. What more can we say? It’s the perfect harmony between art and design.
If we needed an example of the modern Mediterranean style in Pedro Penã‘s projects, this is it. The harmony, lightness, the palette of colors and the furniture pieces working together to bring a casual environment with a feeling of comfort but excellence, is exactly what we search for when we talk about this style in particular. The open atmosphere created when using this style fits perfectly in any home and is certainly something of a trend.
When it comes to outdoor designs, this is as great as it can get. It brings us a feeling of relaxation, of comfort and vacation. With the white and extremely light brown palette, reminding us just why the Mediterranean style works so well in any space, it summons the feeling of nature and harmony.
Even with smaller spaces, this style works perfectly. And how could we forget to point out our source of obsession? The palette of colors used that works perfectly in the fabrics and textures of the furniture, rug and lighting.
Yet another Mediterranean influence clear as water in this project. The accented velvet chairs are perfect in this grey, black and white palette, with the contrast of the blue of the balcony behind it. How could we forget the strips on the sofa or the geometric center table, and fluffy rug? The mixture of materials such as the wood, glass, velvet fabric and so on, is truly a source of never-ending inspiration.
We couldn’t finish off this residential projects section without showing you this one. The art is prominent, not only in the paintings but also in the furniture pieces with exquisite design and color palette. The golden tones scattered on this dining and living room are harmonious and luxurious. We’d have to point out the dining table and its magnificent contemporary base, the lighting piece with a stunning design, as well as the dining chairs with a beautiful and modern pattern in black and white.
We couldn’t end this article without at least showing one of Pedro Penã’s hospitality designs. The luxury of this entrance, the art on the walls, the beautiful geometric tables and the London references considering the location of this project, is truly inspiring. We wouldn’t mind visiting this hotel just for the amazing interiors.
