The famous Russia-based studio Design, Decor, Repair (DDR) offers stunning spaces executed with precision and care and a dose of some serious finesse. And what better way to show their unique design approach than designing the ultimate bedroom decor sanctuary? For this incredible challenge, the studio’s designer Valeria Mikheeva wanted to take the owners’ feminine style and create amazing decor that would become a beautiful sanctuary space.
For Valeria Mikheeva the secret to creating a true bedroom decor oasis relies on the color choices. This beautiful room has a unique twist thanks to Essential Home’s Sophia bed, a bespoke mid-century panel bed, with bonded velvet on the headboard and footboard. This is one of those high-end pieces that can be the standout of any bedroom project.
Standing next to the incredible upholstered bed, the Russian interior designer decided to incorporate two Jacobsen side tables also by the mid-century brand, a product of a clean design approach made with the finest Carrara and Nero Marquina marble. What an exquisite contrast with an exclusive glamour, don’t you think?
To complement the colorful furniture pieces in this bedroom decor, Valeria Mikhevaa decided to play with the color of the walls by adding a fabulous accent wall featuring a beautiful soft pink and cool green and teal wallpaper with gold accents reminiscent of natural gemstone.
The rest of the walls in this bedroom decor are painted a calming lavender with gold accents for added glamour. These were also the perfect backslash to enhance the beauty of Essential Home’s Monocles dressing table in the beauty space next to the bed… Constructed of solid walnut wood and offers three front drawers produced in gold plated brass.
