Located in the Hollywood Hills, the renovated a 1,600-square-foot 1950s bungalow brings back its mid-century splendor which is also the favorite style of the Hollywood actress. For her master bedroom, Sophia Bush chose a mid-century walnut look with The Container Store’s Laren closet system in the Flint finish, as an incredible alternative to the classic luxurious walk-in closet. “Sophia has an extensive fashion collection of really beautiful pieces that are meant to be on display. It turns her clothes and her shoes into art pieces,” explained the Orie Prince.

The structures of Sophia Bush‘s Hollywood home dates back to the 1950s and is defined by its butterfly roof and wood-beam ceilings. To follow the lines of the home’s mid-century modern architecture, Prince and interior designer Jake Arnold designed custom linear closet walls as opposed to walk-in closets, since (according to the interior designer) it’s very typical of mid-century design to have walnut built-ins. Beyond functionality, the closet looks intentionally attractive with the doors closed or open.
