Wide spaces, clean lines, and a muted color palette that improved two of the best characteristics of the house namely the art and the sweeping ocean views. Miami, South Beach with its delicious views to the beach gave Sofia some ingredients to make a proper design effort, these two features take center stage while still providing an extremely comfortable and cohesive interior. Delicate but luxurious materials, lighting, and furnishings increase the ease and warmth of the environment. The flow-through unit also features an aquarium, wine cellar, and billiard room.
GLASS MIAMI BEACH
Sofia really knows how to connect interior design and Miami! Within a tall and extremely slender residential tower, Sofia had a new challenge which she took it with honor. She had an interior idea that really reflects the ethereal, crystalline aesthetic of the rest of the tower, combining elements of light, clean, reflection, and negative space to create an extremely light interior.
The palette of colors used has white marbles and surfaces mirrored with contrasts of furniture in light tones and shades of wood. The remaining colors complement the elements of the building’s surroundings, with the ocean, water, sand, and sky, joining all the pieces together for an incredible environment.
Sofia’s skill is not only for Miami but however that she really showed some great appetite to mix Miami’s colors contexts and made a great job. New York is now the prey and its on Saganock that in 2018 was considered the most expensive area for those who intend to buy a house, with the average price of a property to be around 5 million euros. Pressure? Not for Sofia.
She gave a modernist twist with traditional details reflecting the “Shingle” style, the typical exterior style of a cottage on the south coast of Long Island. The kitchen contains soft woods with stainless steel and detailing in the marbles very well worked and explored. The large two-story room has been idealized with modernistic glimpses, such as the floating halo lamp and low-backed sofas that give a compelling look to space, and a classic ship-style bunk room brings luxury to sleepovers.
