The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (aka ICFF) has become an unmissable event for every design professional. This year, this major design event took place at Javits Center in New York city from May 21st to 24th.
ICFF 2017 gathered more than 800 exhibitors from all around the world to display the best of contemporary furniture, seating, lighting, flooring, textiles and several other product categories. It was a lifetime opportunity to meet the world’s greatest brands and get in touch with their latest furniture collections. We selected for you the most memorable exhibitions of this 29th edition:

Trueing, winners of the ICFF Editors’ Award for emerging designers, is a design studio based in Brooklyn and set up just four months before the fair, received the Emerging Designer accolade after presenting a set of table lamps with spinning dichroic disks. This small countertop lamp creates a little bit of mystery. The light from a LED embedded in the brass ring is reflected off the glass in the center.

Brooklyn-based studio Crème employed traditional Chinese dying techniques to create these indigo-coloured wooden chairs for Stellar Works. To celebrate the launch of its Exchange Collection for Chinese brand Stellar Works at this year’s ICFF, Crème created limited-edition versions of the range’s chair in distinctive blue hues.
