Spacious mid-century style apartment in a low-rise residential complex near Saint-Petersburg.
The main goal of the project was to achieve the maximum open living space with dedicated functional areas. To achieve this, firstly, a loggia is attached to the apartment and turned into plywood “box” inserted into the room.
The central place here, of course, is the living room, which simultaneously takes on the role of the kitchen and dining area and even the office. Correctly planned space allows you to comfortably settle in each of the selected zones.
A small working room for the desktop and office equipment is separated from the common area by means of double-sided shelving.
The zone of rest and reception of visitors is priority and therefore is in the very centre of the interior composition.
The stylish solution of the whole apartment is built on a mixture of Scandinavian interior traditions and modern design, reinterpreting the 50-60s last century.
The colour solution is sustained on nuances with little accents. White walls and a neutral floor play the role of a background, and pastel colours – coral, delicate blue, pearl gray – create an atmosphere of warmth and coziness.
A little further is a kitchen, which is difficult to identify at a glance. This effect was achieved thanks to modern minimalist furniture and built-in household appliances, which made it possible to abandon the additional hinged lockers and make the working surfaces as invisible as possible.
The main attention is attracted to the dining area, located on the site of the old loggia. Designers marked it with a small podium. A large table is always ready to welcome any number of friends of this hospitable family.
A logical continuation of the living room and dining area is a small corner with a piano. The convenient arrangement of the musical instrument allows both to enjoy the melody in a cheerful company and to play quietly, immersed in your thoughts.
The accent of the bedroom is a red colour used in detail: lamps, stools, pillows … Everything else is decided in pastel colours with a predominance of a gentle blue hue. Minimalism inspired to abandon unnecessary accessories and add notes of modernity and the Scandinavian tendency – not to escape from the pureness of nature and simplicity.

Bathrooms are solved in a common style and are built on a combination of rough gray tiles, a repeating gray-blue pattern, a wooden ceiling and contrasting of black colour elements.
