In order to plan the best Mother’s Day brunch ever, you need to have a concept first. Last Mother’s Day, Laurén from Twink + Sis co-hosted one of the most beautiful brunches ever. Below, you will see her amazing party design, and get some ideas on how to host your own brunch.

1. Decide on a theme

The first step towards creating the best Mother’s Day Sunday brunch and make sure everyone is on the same boat is to come up with a theme. It doesn’t have to be anything very specific. Laurén and her friends Chase Beckerman & Stephanie Nortman decided to go with a crafts theme, getting everyone envolved, creating stunning personalized accessories.

2. Always make it floral

Next on the agenda is to bring in the flowers. And since your Mother’s Day brunch will be happening in May, when Spring is in its full bloom, it only makes sense to accessorize your dining room with stunning flowers. Make it colorful and nice.

3. Bring in all the essentials

Dinnerware and cutlery are absolute musts when designing your dining room for this event. Make sure you get these essentials to match your theme. If you’re going with a soft, floral theme, get simple dinnerware that will not overpower your table setting.

White porcelains and minimalist brass candle holders will create a magical setting, perfect for a Spring sunday brunch.

4. Don’t forget the (delicious) food!

Last, but not the least, if you’re hosting a brunch, remember to bring out what makes it all happen… food. Our advice is to go with a few canapes and even some tapas, depending on the theme you’re going with. Laurén went with a few simple hors d’oeuvres and these floral cupcakes which look absolutely amazing!
