Counting the days for Milan Design Week, we went looking for the events you really can’t miss!
As you already know by now, Milan Design Week will be happening this month, from the 17th to the 22nd. With two main events that bring this whole Design Week together – Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone – we haven’t yet had the chance to address Fuorisalone and all the events that will be happening around Milano next week. Lladró & Boca do Lobo
For the whole duration of Milan Design Week (Apr. 17 – 22) Lladró and its longtime partner Boca do Lobo will be exhibiting not only at Salone del Mobile but also at Lladró’s showroom in the city. The two brands will come together to present a unique lifestyle. Before both brands begin to wow everyone at Fuorisalone and Salone del Mobile, make sure you get an invitation for their opening party!

Coffee Drawing Projects
A brand that, at first sight, has nothing to do with design, has come to prove us all wrong. Top-quality coffee brand Illy has once again teamed up with Milan Design Week to present the Coffee Drawing project in the Triennale Design Museum. Street artist Max Petrone will be creating characters, as well as short stories using nothing but coffee as a watercolor.

Miart
Miart is a furniture fair that puts on display the best of modern and contemporary furniture. It will be happening between April 13th and the 15th. There will also be multiple exhibitions happening around town. To top that up, make sure you don’t miss the usual Miartalks, which you can know all about here.

A Life Extraordinary by Moooi
Moooi will be presenting their new lighting and furniture pieces at their exhibition, as well as new collaboration with other amazing names in the product and furniture design world. You can register at their website to keep updated!

Daily Cocktail Hours at Salone del Mobile
Finally, for those of you who are visiting Salone del Mobile, know that you will be able to enjoy delicious cocktails in multiple stands across Hall 01. Essential Home, in partnership with DelightFULL, will be having a daily cocktail hour at 4.30pm in Hall 01 – Stand L09. Covet House will also be having a Happy Hour cocktail from 3pm until 4.30pm.
