A selection of Essential Home’s pieces made their way across the ocean to be displayed at El Estudio Store showroom. Amongst them, we can find the multiple Collins dining chairs, a couple of custom Hudson accent chairs, as well as two Mansfield, Ellen dining chairs and even a couple of classic Ellen armchairs.

In a space filled with interior design ideas and outstanding mid-century furniture pieces, the two Mansfield are definitely eye-catchers. You can’t stay indifferent to such a presence in a room. El Estudio Store chose to get the accent chairs in their standard blue velvet upholstery fabric for a more powerful stance.

The five Collins dining chairs, on the other hand, were customized in a stunning pink upholstery fabric to contrast with the simple marble of the dining table. A colorful and fun twist to a classic mid-century furniture piece.

Two Hudson armchairs can also be seen when you enter the Dominican Republic showroom in Av. Gustavo Mejía Ricart, 120. El Estudio Store chose to pair them up with two patterned pillows, very mid-century like. The standard blue leather finish was also opted out, with the designers choosing to go with this mid-century mustard yellow instead.

On the other side of the showroom, you will find soberer colors and hues. The two Ellen armchairs give it a twist, boasting a glamorous emerald green and gold-plated finish on the base. As you go in the showroom, you can see how important balance can be. If you choose to use bold furnishing pieces in your modern home decor, make sure to balance them with neutral colors in the background.

Finally, we have the two Ellen dining chairs we mentioned above. Although they are great dining pieces, the truth is they are stunning enough to be used on their own, as accent pieces. El Estudio Store chose to display them in a more relaxed setting, and they look great in beige velvet.
