The renovation of this Art Chic apartment in Paris, headed by French designer Patricia Mauguy Flores of PFB Design, is one of Haussmann’s latest interior design projects.
The restoration of the luxurious interiors of this private residence was handed over to Patricia Mauguy Flores by a young family who trusted her talent to mix modernism and tradition, comfort and originality, while transforming the house into a design luxury.
The designer has selected the best materials and worked on a bold combination of colors, in order to make this spacious apartment a stylish household. The main objective was clear: Combine the high ceilings and ornate moldings of the apartment with luxurious furniture and a creative color scheme.
With this in mind, Patricia decided to include two models of armchairs different from Brabbu: Dukono and Namib in the adjoining living room and dining room. And, in order to match the overall color palette, the designer chose to customize the chairs with different fabrics. Placed in a common area, the Dukono armchair differs from the neutral background with its purple and bold nuances, a touch of luxury decoration.
Located on both sides of the dining table, the Namib armchairs were custom made to match the decorative ideas of the room. These invigorating, balanced and curved armchairs are real creations of masters, where wood and velvet are transformed into a classic. In addition, the fact that the room has plenty of natural light, which gives it a higher height, allowed the designer to go for a bold turquoise set, trimmed with pillows printed in a fantastic pattern.
