Do you want to meet one of the best interior designers in the world? Let us introduce Anouska Hempel
If we want to talk about interior design is almost impossible don’t talk about Anouska Hempel. From the TV world and from the big screen straight to conquer the interior design world. It was in 1978 that Hempel opened the five stars Blakes Hotel in South Kensington. Let us introduce you to this award-winning interior designer born in New Zeland.
Anouska Hempel, a nominee one of the top 100 interior designers in the world, by Architectural Digest, is known by her unique style creating ambiances with a touch of the theatrical world and, at the same time, a sense of harmony, making a fusion between the classic and contemporary.
Architecture, interior and furniture design, fashion, garden, and product design are some of the areas where Hempel, with her team, spreads her work.
“Design follows where imagination goes.”
Wiltshire, Anouska Hempel first project, make us travel to a world of truly charm, fantasy and mystery. In fact, romance is some kind of “keyword” in Hempel projects, through the stunning patterns and colour schemes and through the incredible furniture pieces that we can see in her projects.
The Frankin Hotel Bar
If we take a look at this project, in the Frankin Hotel, easily we understand the concept of the mix between the classic and the modern and we almost travel into a movie of the 50’s with the luxury always present. Where we see stunning patterns in a black, grey and white palette brings.
In the Duxton, in Australia, we have another great project example where we can see the passions of Anouska Hempel, but this time with more bold colors.
Gable Bar Chair of Essential Home is a wonderful piece that could fit perfectly in this kind of design. Don’t you think so?
