Let’s take some time to recap all the best moments that happened during Maison & Objet!
Maison & Objet’s has closed its doors for the first time this year and while we are already waiting for its September edition, let’s take a moment to give a proper mid-century farewell to Maison et Objet January, and check out some of the moments that made this trade show so great!

This edition of Maison et Objet will be remembered for the usual introduction of new trends, the amazing awarded designer of the year Cecilie Manz, the six Rising Talents chosen by renowned Italian interior and fashion designers and, of course, great mid-century furniture.
Essential Home and DelightFULL were both exhibiting in the same hall as Cecilie Manz, Hall 7, and together, the two brands showed why Portuguese design and the mark “made in Portugal” is becoming more and more relevant.
This year, the two Portuguese mid-century brands got together once again, but with a new look! With sherbet colors, partnerships with brands Rug’Society, Foggo, and Lladró, and two new exclusive designs by Essential Home, there was no way stand E40-F39 was going to get unnoticed!
This year, the two brands had a full wall dedicated to their designs that are prepared for contract projects. What this means is, different prices, different deals and, of course, for Essential Home, fabrics that are even more resistant and fire retardant.
Our favorites pieces at the trade show
Vincent Sideboard
One of the two stars of Essential Home’s stand at Salon Maison et Objet, Vincent grabbed a lot of attention from the passerby. People would stop to look at the mid-century credenza and be amazed by the amount of detail that went into building this piece.
Hepburn Cabinet
Hepburn cabinet was the other new design that Essential Home’s team brought with them to Paris. With a body handmade in walnut and two door handles made of polished brass, this mid-century modern cabinet stands out thanks to its leather upholstered applique at the bottom.
Romero Armchair
And although we love all of Essential Home’s designs, this custom Romero armchair completely stole our hearts. With a custom fabric and its sleek polished brass feet, this mid-century accent chair brought us back the Palm Springs in the 1960s!

These were all the best moments we lived at Maison et Objet January, and we hope you had the chance to stop by Essential Home’s stand to live some of these moments with us. If not, take note that you will still have that chance at Maison & Objet September! See you there!
