The Theodor Dining Chair takes it’s offspring in the Ferdinand Lounge Chair that was launched in 2014.
OEO Studio’s vision has been to create a signature design that reflects contemporary sensibilities, while honouring the legacy of 20th century design.

The design borrows inspiration from the enduring qualities of midcentury Danish Modern – spiced, tweaked and given a little present-day zest. Woodturning is a key element of the structural design, a technique that combines classic craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing. The result is a bold and distinct design where the backrest and the frame effortlessly melt together.

Theodor Dining Chair was created with this philosophy in mind. The vision has been to create a signature design that reflects contemporary sensibilities while honouring the legacy of design from the 20th century. Designed by Danish design studio OeO and conceived in close dialogue with Brdr. Krüger’s master craftspeople. With two centuries of design tradition meeting in one composition, the Lounge Chair is named after one of the founding Krüger brothers, Theodor.
The Theodor Dining Chair was launched at the Michelin-star restaurant Kadeau in Copenhagen.
