Attendance this year is expected to be one third the normal amount of visitors, but Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is still one of the biggest in the world, with six miles of docks to view more than 1,300 boats and 1,000 exhibitors.
The exhibitors will feature everything from first public appearances of new boat models to little buoy keyrings to keep your keys afloat, as well as the latest in nautical fashions, jewelry and accessories. It’s no wonder this show has been a staple of luxury in Fort Lauderdale for 61 years.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show caters to everyone from experienced yachters to first-time boat buyers. Other exhibit areas also feature boating accessories, fishing tackle, gadgets, gizmos, services and more. According to the new rules of the pandemic we’re living in, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has taken the appropriate measures to make sure everyone is safe. The event will now be accessible through 13 entrances to avoid crowds and lines, and the size of the event itself was expanded, allowing plenty of room to walk around and see everything. Masks are required and temperature checks are made at the entrances for everyone’s safety.
