Now, with a limited budget, it’s natural that you exclude some options like a diamond encrusted mirror, but you are still left with a lot of them!
A little research never hurts, so it’s good that you know what you have going for you. Can you get brand new furniture or do you have to restore old one? Paint or wallpaper?
Know what materials work for you!
Natural lighting
Usually, high end homes love natural light to the point that the artificial lighting they put there is more with the goal of decorating and not to bright up the room.
So, when renovating your décor, remember to rearrange your furniture to take advantage of the natural lighting or even do some wall rethinking to open up the space more.
Suspension
Naturally, the more expensive the house, the more space it has. That being said, if you don’t have a house that costed you one million dollars, it’s natural that you don’t get the same spaces that one has.
But worry not! There are some tricks to help your home divisions look bigger than what they actually are. One of them was covered above: getting a lot of natural lighting. Another one is using suspension techniques, and with that, freeing up the floor.
You see, if the floor isn’t very occupied, the room looks bigger, because people have more space to circulate. That simple.
So, when renovating your home’s interior design, consider suspended shelfs and lighting, to make your room look larger then it is.
Print the artworks
Here’s why: looks the same, costs less.
A nice printed version of a painting is always less expensive then a $1000, real painting!
Print the picture and frame it, much more simple, you can make copies and switch from picture to picture at ease.
Plants, why not?
Gives the room a more natural look (together with all that natural lighting), makes the smell better and, when well placed, actually makes the room look bigger.
Plants add a good feeling to the room and they don’t even need to be on the floor, you also have suspended plants and other that can hang from the ceiling.
