Heildelberg Village project will be completed in 2017, in Germany, and has solar power and vertical gardens.
The first sustainable world condominium is under construction in Germany. The project has 162 apartments, which will be supplied with its own solar power plant, and has in its structure vertical gardens that will aid in thermal management and improved air quality.
The complex was named Heildelberg Village and was designed by Frey Achitekten office with the main objective to put into practice different concepts of energy efficiency, beyond the theories of bioclimatic architecture.

Each apartment has capacity up to five people with individual balconies and solar micro-plant. Outside the gaffs residents can also take advantage of several natural attractions.
The photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs will be accompanied by trees and plants. Residents will attend them, as there will be common areas designed for leisure. The vegetation will also cover the walls of buildings. In other words, it is impossible not to have a great quality of air there.
Thus, the entire building will remain connected to solar energy and a sustainable ventilation system, ensuring that it receives full efficient electricity.
