Designing Women is the name of a show group that brings together furniture and homeware realised by enthusiastic female designers in New York. It is organised and hosted by Egg Collective founders Stephanie Beamer, Crystal Ellis and Hillary Petrie, with the main goal of supporting equality and empowerment of women worldwide, representing the female category at all stages in their careers.

The show runs at Egg Collective’s West Soho Showroom from May 1st to May 26th, during the New York’s design season.
Hiroko Takeda’s trio of handwoven wall hangings and dark metal furniture by Anna Karlin are only some of the highlights of the exhibition. We should add to them a rust-coloured crushed velvet chaise longue by Moving Mountains, Lindsey Adelmans’ pendant and table versions of her Knotty Bubbles lights in a new milky blue colour and a Bec Brittains’ pair of her floor-to-ceiling Mercury Lights.
Egg Collective as well gave its contribution to the exhibition with a large wooden coffee table, sofas, dark-coloured cabinets and a set of side tables.
Moreover: crystal glasses by Deborah Ehlrich and one of Kinder Modern’s rugs, patterned with bold colourful graphics, ceramics by Maria Mover, a set of vessels by High Gloss, home accessories by Object and Totem, and minimal jewellery designs by Brvtvs.
Haven’t you booked a flight to New York yet? The Big Apple is waiting for you!
