The blackboard is a smooth surface with a special coating on which you can write with ordinary school chalk. If you really want to have such an element of decor in your interior, and where to buy it, you do not know, it does not matter – there is an opportunity to make such a board by yourself. To do this you will need:
Smooth surface (wall, board, cabinet door), prepared in advance for painting. If there is an old paint on the surface, it is better to clean it so that the surface is smooth, otherwise it will be impossible to write and paint on it;
Special paint for the blackboard. Such paint is sold in building stores and is designed specifically for creating a board for chalk: its surface is very dense, matte and is not damaged by the action of hard chalk.

To paint the board in several layers, there is nothing complicated, you will easily cope with this yourself. You can use the surface of the cabinet door or the fridge for this, or you can use a whole wall. The accented wall, painted with paint for the slate, will become a cool element of the decor and a great entertainment for adults and children. Such a wall can be made both in the kitchen and in the nursery – everywhere it will look equally original. The kitchen blackboard can serve as a place to write down the dinner menu or favorite recipes, in the nursery – so that the kid draws and writes his first words. As you can see, the blackboard in the interior is an excellent element of decor.
