Black Tap – Las Vegas
In this contemporary restaurant project, the Rockwell Group team mixed the restaurant’s signature motifs and familiar luncheonette atmosphere with the classic architecture of its location, The Venetian. White glazed subway tiles, custom monochrome flooring, neon signage, and street art-inspired installations add an urban feel.
With a touch of pop art to the mix and a strictly black and white palette with references to 80s and 90s New York and hip hop, it’s the perfect space to visit if you’re a fan of Rockwell Group‘s projects or design in general.
Nobu Downtown – NYC
Rockwell Group’s collaboration with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa began with one small restaurant in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. 23 years later, they have redesigned Nobu Downtown in a former AT&T building, continuing to explore the incredible Japanese craft and design, and Peruvian folk traditions, while never opening hand from the luxury, craftsmanship and sophistication.
Old and new, connected by the seams with the meticulous minds of Rockwell Group’s team, a wonderful combination that comes to life with incredible furniture pieces by the best brands in the world. Who could forget such a beautiful project?

– David Rockwell
A tropical feel permeates this restaurant in Soho owned by Cedric Vongerichten and his wife Ochi. The Rockwell Group team gave the existing white brick walls of the narrow, linear space a milky wash, and added wood floors, rustic teak paneling, amber glass, and accents of oxidized copper, batik screens, and authentic carved wood pieces from Indonesia.
