Every walked into a hotel it though, wow? Then the odds are you’ve probably entered one of Richmond international’s hospitality projects. They’ve been designing some of the world most prestigious hotels, from London to Barbados, since 1966. Refurbishing, restoring and creating for their clients. But what drives them? Well, that’s the desire to design hotels that are authentic, intelligent and inspiring. Here are five of our favorite projects that left us in awe.

1. Four Seasons: Moscow
This prestigious hotel designed by Richmond is what we call inspirational. Drawing on the spirit and influences of the past. This hotel’s a reconstruction of the famous Moskva hotel. The way those influence seamlessly flow into this contemporary design is truly an homage to that historic icon.
2. The Langham London
The Langman hotel the original Grand London Hotel, where Richmond’s history has been intertwining for the past 30 years. With Richmond’s latest designs London’s largest suite, the Sterling Suite and the exclusive club lounge that’s described as a fresh take on the classic London townhouse finished just in time for its 150th birthday, giving this West-End institution it’s contemporary edge.
3. Four Seasons: Baku
A beacon that bringing the French Riviera style to the Azerbaijani capital. That’s what the new 19-story building on Baku’s Corniche. Inspired by the building’s classic architecture and its decorative and crisp interior that contrast with the restaurants that are modern, with well-designed lines and contemporary. This the right addition to this ever-evolving and dynamic city.
4. Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace Versailles
The legendary Trianon Palace Versailles that has been attracting the highest of the Parisian society since the opening in 1909. With its contemporary accents and reminiscent history, it’s hard not to love this amazing hotel.
5. Four Season: Mauritius
The Four Seasons Mauritius was inspired by the seductive location of Anahita. An island with her own complete lagoon. This hotel was infused with this culture and blended with contemporary influences. Making this luxury retreat feel right at home in the landscape of Mauritius.
