Of course, you know Burj Al Arab. It is the only world’s only seven-star hotel and that reputation was built on a solid foundation. And something tells us that this luxury restaurant – Bab Al Yam -, designed by Allen Architecture Interiors Design has a lot to do with it. So, before you start packing your bags, step inside Burj Al Arab and fall in love with one of the best interior designs in Dubai.

When it was first designed, Bab Al Yam Restaurant’s goal was to “ensure the guest experience was heightened through cultural influences, dramatic views towards the horizon and connection to the outdoors and private beach/terrace.”
AAID’s role in all of this?
Well, the Dubai interior design firm served as lead design consultant, managing and coordinating all design related sub-consultants to deliver nothing but the highest quality finish, within the time frame, of course.
Being Burj Al Arab’s central restaurant, this fine dining restaurant needed to be enlarged and modernized, in order to allow its guest to be drawn into a more dynamic and energizing space, right in the fashion of Dubai interior design. Nowadays, it is perfect for an adaptable public, as well as dining events and special occasions.
Allen Architecture Interiors Design used a subtle material and color palette, which helped to place an emphasis on the horizon view the guests get from inside, heightening its dramatic impact. There is also a terrace, which surrounds the restaurant and provides a more natural outdoor ambiance, which goes well with the smooth and very natural color palette used indoors.
Using such natural colors and elements might not be the norm for a luxury restaurant such as Bab Al Yam. However, these materials mixed with the natural vegetation outdoors create a more private atmosphere, at the same time it keeps the restaurant design current with sustainable architecture trends.
From Burj Al Arab’s central lobby you can find Bab Al Yam if you follow through a narrow gauge, which will lead you to a dramatic triple height reception flooded with natural light and fused with opulent and timeless materials. By doing that, Allen Architecture Interiors Design was able to create the feeling of warmth and richness you would expect from such a place.
