Carrillo Interior Design just took the rustic decor style to a whole new level!
Rustic interior design has been trending for the past year, with more and more people choosing to mix rustic country house elements into their modern home designs. However, what the Madrid-based interior design company Carrillo did was take the rustic interior design style and elevate it by blending it with multiple luxury elements.

One of the reasons we are loving this Spanish interior design so much is definitely the use of a rustic style. The designers chose to use several wooden elements, that create a sense of comfort and make you want to stay there forever. Just look at the gorgeous floor lamps at the door!
The main dining room is where you can feel all the luxury floor this restaurant interior design. There is a candle inspired chandelier at the center of the room and instead of the wooden elements we can find on the other side of the door, we see luxurious beige dining chairs, sleek dinnerwear, and a sophisticated centerpiece.
In a smaller room, we can see warmer colors and warmer materials. The subtle red walls create a sense of comfort and warmth that is impossible not to associate with Mediterranean design.
In the bar area, copper pendant lamps and Edison light bulbs create a cozy ambiance. A few industrial details were added to the bar counter and contrast beautifully with the rustic decor elements we can see throughout the design.

To create a sense of continuity and harmony throughout the Gastrobar, Carrillo’s team kept choosing to go back to the wooden furniture. This time, a color palette of green, white and black was used and we can immediately sense that warm and earthy feeling again, making us aware of the Mediterranean feeling that surrounds the place.

Four sisters with a calling is probably the best way to start describing the founders of Carrillo Interior Design. Lola, Carmen, Victoria and Laura Carrillo have all inherited the value of artisanal work, which ultimately led to their need to create an interior design company that encapsulated all of their beliefs. With that need, Carrillo was born.

The team works, designs and decides together. By doing this and facing each project as an individual work with individual needs, the sisters create unique solutions that guarantee a special result. “Whether it is a private dwelling or a large project, the aim is to create a union between concept, materials, textures, colors, pieces of furniture, and even the last detail,” explain the Carrillo sisters on their website.
