A beautiful movie, romantic and honest, perfect for a night in with your significant other, a classic that is impossible to resist and definitely a must-watch.

It Happened One Night (1934)
This one is one of the greatest romantic comedies in film history, and a film that has endured in popularity. It is considered one of the pioneering “screwball” romantic comedies of its time, setting the pattern for many years afterwards. It’s the story of the unlikely romantic pairing of a mis-matched couple – a gruff and indifferent, recently-fired newspaper man and a snobbish, superior-acting heiress – a runaway on the lam. A beautiful choice for the comedy/romance lovers.
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)
“Meet me in Montauk…” who could forget such a deep quote in this wonderful movie? im Carrey stars as Joel Barish, a man who is informed that his ex-girlfriend Clementine has had her memories of their relationship erased from her brain via an experimental procedure performed. Not to be outdone, Joel decides to have the same procedure done to himself. Over the course of an evening, in his apartment — Joel struggles in his own mind to save the memories of Clementine from being deleted.
Harold And Maude (1971)
Harold, the 20-year-old son of a wealthy, neglectful woman, tries to gain attention for himself with various hilariously staged “suicides.” Obsessed with death, Harold meets a like-minded 79-year-old woman named Maude. Harold and Maude become inseparable friends, both helping each other out of various personal travails. It’s a sweet movie, showcasing a different kind of love but just as pure and a masterpiece in its own way.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

While it retains the original Shakespearean dialogue, this film represents the Montagues and the Capulets as warring mafia empires (with legitimate business fronts) during contemporary America, and swords are replaced with guns (with brand names such as “Dagger” and “Sword”). It’s a modern version of a classic but it still holds the charm and beauty, despite the changes, and it’s definitely worth it with the stunning performances of Leonardo Di Caprio and Claire Danes.
The Thin Man (1934)
In this film, Edward Ellis plays a mean-spirited inventor. The recently-divorced Ellis discovers that his new girlfriend has stolen $50,000 and is carrying on with other men. Not long afterward, he disappears. Anxious to locate her father, Ellis’ daughter Maureen O’Sullivan goes to private detective Nick Charles for help. A comedy, a mystery and a romance, it presents us with fast-talking, cocktail-swilling married detectives Nick and Nora Charles that are definitely the definition of relationship goals.
The Notebook (2004)
this adaptation of author Nicholas Sparks’ bestselling novel revolves around Noah Calhoun’s regular visits to a female patron of an area nursing home. Rather than bore her with the inanities of everyday life, Calhoun reads from an old, faded notebook containing the sweeping account of a young couple whose love affair was tragically put to a halt after their separation in the midst of World War II. Seven years later, the couple was reunited, and, despite having taken radically different paths, they found themselves unable to resist the call of a second chance. What else can be said about this movie? It’s a classic and a must-watch, a beautiful story that is sure to jerk a tear out of you (or more!).
La La Land (2006)
This fantastic movie tells the story of Mia, an aspiring actress, and Sebastian, a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
