Marco Costa, brand banager and design manager, revealed that “when designing our stand concept, we were looking for something that described us the best. Something to the barrier of classical and contemporary language, which shows the interaction between square volumes and classical architectural details. We decided to take a step forward in visual communication, to be more audacious and to prove that Boca do Lobo can easily adapt language to contemporary spaces, retaining their deep roots in Portuguese culture”.
In reference to new products that will be on display, the designer continues by saying, “New wall lamps are supposed to be presented as well as two new sofas – one is a reinterpretation of the Chesterfield Classic Armchair, entirely made with leather and another that will incorporate brass and some handmade techniques that we have explored before in pieces such as the Lapiaz tables. In addition, following the concept of the latest design series we launched – Metamorphosis – we also present new center and side tables, composed by glass and marble, which will come off due to their simple lines and Straight”.
This edition of Maison et Objet is going to be a hymn to all the techniques that the brand has been exploring during its creation, but it will also mark a new approach to materials, techniques and textures.

Alexandre Calvário, one of the most competent designers of the luxury brand, responsible of the creative process, has discovered the last aspirations of the brand: “Boca do Lobo has explored the concept of modification and how things can be transformed and changed. According to this concept, we have the Xplosion Luster, which is inspired by an explosion stopped in time… A special chandelier entirely made of brass wire that honors a classic language”.
