For those of you who are yet not familiar with the craftsmanship definition, if we were to define craftsmanship, we would probably start by telling you it is the mastering of a certain skill, or a particular art. However, it is much more than that.

Nowadays that the term craftsmanship is so trendy, the importance of high-quality design and custom, handmade pieces seems to be gaining bigger and bigger proportions. Now more than ever, people are turning to bespoke furniture brands to look for unique objects of beauty and substance, in a world where mass production is still leading the way.

“London Craft Week is a response to a renaissance in the appreciation of creativity and craft; to the role of hand, head, unique skills and true talent. It is another example of what, at its best, the world’s creative capital does so well – mixing glamour with cutting edge; heritage and contemporary and the commercial with the cultural.” Guy Salter, OBE MVO, Chairman of London Craft Week
