We couldn’t end our week about Australia without letting you know which are the design events you can’t miss this year…
While we’re mostly used to hear about big design trade shows and events in Europe and the United States, it’s also nice to be reminded that Australia’s interior design scene is also cooking up a few great events until the end of the year. See below a selection of some of the design conferences and events happening all over Australia we are most excited about. At the end, you will also find a list of some other great events around the globe which you might be interested in.

DENFAIR (Den Furniture & Design Fair)
An interior design trade show that happens twice a year, both in Sydney and Melbourne, Denfair will be back in a few weeks to celebrate contemporary design. Hundreds of local and international brands will meet in Melbourne to showcase their designs and grow business opportunities. Denfair is the perfect place for designers, architects, interior stylist and design lovers to network.

AIFF
Australia’s longest running and most famous furniture fair is back to Melbourne this July! Last year, the Australian International Furniture Fair was co-located with Decor+Design and the 330+ exhibitors received over 11,500 visitors over the course of four days. This year, even more visitors are expected, with a lot of talks and exciting things prepared to happen during this edition of AIFF.

Design Thinking
This particular design conference will shed a light on the thinking process behind a designer’s mind. Accordingly to the organization, “it will cover areas like embed user-centricity, develop better products and services for an increasingly digital customer, build an innovation pipeline for an ecosystem of the future.”

San Francisco Design Week
San Francisco Design Week will be happening from the 7th until the 15th of June, lasting for a whole week filled with events that will celebrate design in its most various ways. Learn more about it here!
London Design Festival
London Design Festival will be back for its 16th edition between the 15th and the 23rd of September, celebrating London as design capital of the world. Make sure to attend and stop by 100% Design, which will be happening from the 19th until the 22nd!
Paris Design Week
If you fancy a little trip to Paris, make sure you schedule it between September 6-15. Get the opportunity to know all about the Paris design industry, as well as attending the September-edition of Maison & Objet!
Dubai Design Week
Set the date: November 12-17, 2018! Yet another great excuse to visit Dubai and get to know all about their Design District. In the meantime, you can know about it here.
ICFF South Florida
Now that the first edition of ICFF has ended, it is time you start preparing for the South Florida edition! ICFF will open its doors on December 4 in the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, to close them on the 6th.
