74th Street Townhouse
Designed by famed architect, Grosvenor Atterbury in 1901, this 10,000sqft Upper East Side Townhome is a true New York classic. The client was relocating from out of state and sought out a contemporary, family-friendly environment that emanates and highlights the townhomes’ classic heritage. When furnishing this space Adam Cassino Design kept both family friendliness and style at the forefront of the process. Classic shapes and finishes were used in conjunction with performance and child-friendly fabrics. All of the furniture has sleek and contemporary lines while maintaining high levels of comfort. This client sought a turn-key result, and when they moved in with their family, they were overwhelmed with the level of detail we put in. Every pot, pan, glass, dish, candy tray, candle, and even laundry detergent was carefully selected and placed for them, making this a gorgeous family townhome they were able to effortlessly settle into.
Legends Circle
Believe it or not, the interior of this 6500sqft family home started out as Gothic and heavy. The client brought Adam Cassino Design in before purchasing and asked if they could transform it into a light and airy transitional feel that they loved; Adam and his team clearly could. Without delay, remodeling began, and in less than a year this now updated transitional home is a delight to be in. They changed the color palette of the entire home, changed stone surfaces, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen finishes, all lighting, and added elegant woodwork detail throughout. Now fully furnished in exquisite, comfortable, and usable pieces, this home has far surpassed the client’s expectations and is a beloved space for the family.
The Birches
Modern luxury meets classic elegance in this home built in Roslyn Estates, New York. Chic and sophisticated describe the client, so the furnishings Adam Cassino Design selected in this home emulate just that. From the ever so handsome blue mohair Michael Dawkins sofa in the living room to the stylish Il Pezzo Mancante light fixtures imported from Italy for the dining room, this interior is sophisticated and refined. With the owner being in the fashion industry, emphasis was put on high-quality materials, luxurious fabrics, and a sophisticated tone-on-tone palette with just the right amount of regal color added in. The client, and now friend, couldn’t be happier with the results, and Adam Cassino Design is so looking forward to designing their beach house next.
