With the years we are constantly hearing about color trends. The truth is that one trend doesn’t fall into oblivion just because the year is over. For example, everybody continues saying that velvet will be the biggest trend in 2019. However, wasn’t it already a big trend since 2017? In this article, we will tell some of the 2019 interior design trends, some of them that you already have heard about.
One of the trends that are really coming back is Beige.
Although grey isn’t out yet, this color is another neutral that is sneaking up at the moment. This color is different from magnolia, it’s warmer and softer.
This color will run the whole world, you have to believe it. This color that just seems like blush pink cousin will be, or better, it’s already in every corner. Each day more fashion brands bring this color to the new collection combing them with the favorite pieces from the ’80s.
Although, Peachy isn’t the only color to win the next year. All shades of orange – from coral pinks to pastel peach will be the biggest winners of 2019 interior design trends.
White is always a good idea. With the years, people decide to move away from brilliant white and preferring white shades that add warmth to any division. Warm white is really different from the brilliant white that people were used to.
This warm white can’t be considered a beige. It’s a lovely warm white that gives a little bit of saturation without screaming and it’ll contrast nicely with any different white.
However the brilliant white isn’t dead, and you can still use it and search for your home decor inspiration with brilliant white. For example in a room that has poor natural light, the brilliant white will give it a new light that could be combined with other colors to get a bit of softness.
Return to the 70s
Now that you already know the color trends 2019, it’s time to tell you that it’s not a coincidence these colors are the trends altogether. The combo of this colors brings out another home decor trend for 2019, the retro feel of the 70s.
Nowadays these trends of the 70s feel a bit cooler than what we have been seeing for the last decades. We believe that 2019 will be a year for the returning of mid-century style.
As in the mid-century style, the round shapes are the big news. Curvy tiles, sofas or round tables – dining tables, side tables or coffee table- the circular shape it’s really an interior design trend to follow – and gives a feminine vibe to the furniture. Also could mean that people are looking for relaxing and inviting rooms.
