Willis Tower<\/h3>\n

Formerly known as the Sears Tower, this magnificent constructions spans over 527 meters tall.<\/p>\n

Willis began its construction in 1970 and, when considering the magnitude of its architectural wonder, it was completed quite rapidly, in 1973.<\/p>\n

With over 108 floors and over 415.000 squared meters in area, Willis was projected and carried on by notorious architects, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.<\/p>\n

Absolutely fantastic is the adjective we would like to use to describe this historic building in Illinois and, fun fact, from 1930 to 1965, this was the tallest building in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Built in 1930 and projected by architect firm Holabird & Root, this building is purely Art Deco.<\/p>\n

When compared with the other constructions, this is a quite recent project.<\/p>\n

Construction began in 2007 and the building was inaugurated in 2009.<\/p>\n

This building is over 250 meters tall and has over 50.000 squared meters in floor area for shops and offices. Plus, it has 210 hotel rooms, 476 residential rooms and 263\u00a0condominiums rooms.<\/p>\n

Jeanne Gang was the architect in charge of the project, who holds the title for the woman responsible for bringing to life the biggest architectural project ever made by an american company.<\/p>\n

Love him or hate him, the current president of the United States is the owner of one of the biggest and best buildings in Chicago, Illinois.<\/p>\n

With 98 floors and over 400 meters tall, this building has over 240 thousand squared meters\u00a0\u00a0of floor space and its construction began in 2005 and ended in 2009.<\/p>\n
