How amazing would it be to extend the feeling of summer a bit with the help of a micro climate that lets you enjoy the great outdoors while also being sheltered. Simon Hjermind Jensen<\/a> designed the Invisible Garden House<\/strong><\/em> just north of Copenhagen for a family wanting to relish summer for all it has to offer. Three domes are connected to form the house and with the help of natural ventilation, the domes are heated within by the sun\u2019s rays.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s early spring, late fall, or just a cold summer day, you can enjoy time spent in the protected environment while still feeling like you\u2019re outside.<\/p>\n

The center dome, the largest one, is a garden house that has a wooden floor allowing you to put a table and chairs.<\/p>\n

\"3<\/p>\n

The smaller domes function as greenhouses to grown your veggies or flowers in.<\/p>\n

\"4<\/p>\n

The domes themselves are made from a UV-protected polycarbonate because of its durability. The pieces are stitched together, much like a tailor would do, from two dimensional pieces into three dimensional objects.<\/p>\n

\"5<\/p>\n

The components are drawn on a computer and then milled on a CNC router. After that, they are put together with metal bolts. To ground the house, they dug down below the frost line.<\/p>\n

Due to the nature of the design, the houses can easily be reproduced and clustered in any fashion depending on the location and needs.<\/p>\n
