Each poster of this Collection reveals the traces iconic movies left on the collective unconscious by illustrating their essential form though respecting\u00a0aesthetic and philosophical criteria. Golden line is the\u00a0synthesis\u00a0of the most minimal and artistic shape with the highest possible recognizability, making it the symbol that best conveys the core of a movie.<\/p>\n

Our project is all about expressing the contrast between\u00a0light and dark, and in doing so The Thin Gold Line is also a\u00a0technical achievement: the posters being the\u00a0largest\u00a0and\u00a0shiniest real hot gold foil stamping realization\u00a0to date, printed on the\u00a0blackest paper in the world.<\/p>\n

Why\u00a0Ultra Minimalism? Wanting to evoke unusual feelings and emotions through movie\u2019s archetypes, needed to use a peculiar art style. Minimalism is the contemporary approach to the many realities that surround us. To some people it is a way of life, to others it is also an art style (in architecture, art, design). Being aware that, today, minimalism is becoming more popular, even in poster art, we looked for a different approach.<\/p>\n

Hot Gold Foil stamping\u00a0is an exclusive printing technique that transfers gold foils to a surface at high temperatures with a metallic matrix, and is used as the first choice to ensure the best results for gold prints, beating PANTONE\u2019s metallic inks and silk-printing in\u00a0luminosity,shininess\u00a0and\u00a0overall quality, particularly on black papers. Also, by gently indenting the paper (debossing), foil stamping offers a texture variety that will nicely affects the brightness and reflectiveness of our golden lines.<\/p>\n
