Everybody loved the work of Sandy and David Wasco<\/span><\/em><\/strong> after in the incredible the \u201cLa La Land\u201d movie sets, that ended up winning the Oscar for the best production design in 2017, and their mid-century home<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>has the same twist. With a unique signature style, the famous couple just remodeled their home decor<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>with some inspiring mid-century modern design ideas<\/a><\/span><\/strong> that are dressed to impress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The famous Oscar-winners set designers, Sandy and David Wasco<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, have just remodeled their trendy California bungalow. They are famous for taking control of every nuance of mood, views, and atmosphere in the films they design. With some trendy design ideas<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and creative color combinations, we can say that this home design<\/a><\/span><\/strong> could win an award for the most inspiring residential project<\/a><\/strong><\/span> of the year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandy and David Wasco<\/span><\/em><\/strong> have worked with some of the most renowned directors in the Hollywood movie scenario, such as Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and Damien Chazelle<\/strong>. When they were looking for a home eight years ago, their priority was a view that was anything but static. The 1956 mid-century project<\/a><\/span><\/strong> that they saved and restored overlooks the ocean, the horizon, and the sky, including the Santa Cruz Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using natural materials and period-appropriate furnishings<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, Sandy and David Wasco<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <\/em><\/strong>surely made an incredible design<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>to their 1966 bungalow project in Santa Barbara, California. The open space concept between the dining and living area gives to their mid-century home<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>a clean and airy look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1956 ranch-style home project<\/a><\/span><\/strong> was designed in 1956 by the architect Robert Ingle Hoyt and restored by architect Brian Hart, who kept some of the original features, such as the home\u2019s bright windows. As you step inside the den area, Sandy and David Wasco<\/span> <\/em><\/strong>decided to incorporate a J\u00f8rgen Rasmussen chair pulls up to a Milo Baughman desk, two incredible products<\/strong><\/span> <\/a>that have that vintage style<\/a><\/strong><\/span> vibe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring the same color themes and natural details as the rest of the <\/strong>mid-century modern home<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, in the master suite Sandy and David Wasco<\/span><\/em><\/strong> decided to to go with a bed design by Axel Bloom, combined with the Gio Ponti chair prototype and the \u201960s floor lamp is by Joe Colombo for Stilnovo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
