Jason Statham<\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u2018s passion for mid-century modern design<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>was what first drew him to a house on Rising Glen Road in Los Angeles. Jason Statham<\/strong><\/em><\/span> goal was to demonstrate his interior design<\/a><\/span><\/strong> skills by buying or renovating new places<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m always looking for places to either renovate or to buy, to move up the ladder,\u201d \u2013 Jason Statham<\/em><\/span> says.<\/strong>\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Jess Allsbrook of Standard Architecture<\/strong> followed Jason Statham<\/strong><\/em><\/span> on this mid-century modern<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>journey. Together they decided how they could transform that house in Los Angeles turning it as mid-century modern<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>as possible. The mid-century modern house <\/a><\/strong><\/span>was designed so that the interior flows seamlessly into the exterior. Nowhere is this more apparent than the dining room<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, where a large sliding door looks out onto a picturesque olive tree.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason Statham<\/span><\/em> <\/strong>decided to keep as much existing shape of the exterior as possible while outfitting the interior with top-of-the-line mid-century modern<\/a><\/strong><\/span> amenities. \u201cI never really had a budget. So, all the finishes became really expensive\u2014it became quite an indulgent year.\u201d <\/strong>Jess Allsbrook and Statham have been on this adventure for 18 months to see the mid-century modern home decoration<\/a><\/strong><\/span> completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason Statham<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <\/strong>appreciates the sunlight. Due to that fact, he admits that UK architecture<\/a><\/strong><\/span> is different from California\u2019s mid-century modern<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>architecture. \u201cIn the U.K., everything is just these tiny rooms with a fireplace. Every house looks the same\u2014they\u2019re all red brick\u2014and they\u2019re very different to California midcentury architecture,\u201d<\/strong> Jason Statham<\/strong><\/em><\/span> says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cI\u2019m constantly looking and trying to find the next project to be a part of. I think it\u2019s part of how we\u2019re made up; we just love change. Change is always good.\u201d <\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
