From the 18th until the 21st of September, London will be center stage for design professionals across the UK to meet and trade ideas or knowledge, as well as find the best solutions for their latest projects and inspire new designs, new trends.<\/p>\n With its unrivalled talks programme, striking installations and exhibitions, this year\u2019s edition will be the largest gathering of designers and architects in the UK, providing a unique opportunity to meet with the industry\u2019s leading professionals and emerging talents from all over the globe. If you are a design enthusiast, this is where you will need to be in September!<\/p>\n If you want to find out all the areas and features of 100% Design this year, then take a look below!<\/em><\/p>\n\n \u00a0<\/p>\n A showcase of the latest contemporary soft furnishings and wall coverings by international design companies.<\/p>\n A curated exhibition of some of the best\u00a0contemporary interior specialists<\/strong>\u00a0for high-end interior designers and industry professionals.<\/p>\n Following the success of the first collaboration with Transport for London, Kirby Design will once again bring to life a curated selection of designs from the London Transport Museum\u2019s archive,\u00a0a collection of upholstery velvets which recreate original\u00a0moquette designs historically used across the TfL network from\u00a0the 1930s to present\u00a0day.<\/p>\n With a star line-up of\u00a0400+ exhibitors\u00a0<\/strong>showcasing the latest products across furniture, lighting, textiles, glazing, accessories, and more.<\/p>\n New for this year, 100% Design will showcase \u2018A Sense of Finland\u2019 curated by Finnish\/English designer Hanna Laikola, founder of HEMLO in collaboration with renowned Nordic brand Tapio Anttila Collection and Polar Life Haus, the long-established eco log house company.<\/p>\n A\u00a0celebration of emerging talent\u00a0<\/strong>selected by 100% Design at New Designers, with a further selection by Barbara Chandler, design editor of Homes & Property at the London Evening Standard.<\/p>\n The Design Lounge is a central feature of the show and includes a showcase of iconic\u00a0Arper designs<\/strong>\u00a0within an engaging setting, perfect to unwind, meet and network.<\/p>\n The area will be returning for its second year at 100% Design with must-see events and exclusive content curated by partners from the likes of Kirby Design.<\/p>\n More than 50 talks with designers, architects, and specialists, to debate the most current trends. This year\u2019s Auditorium will be a backdrop designed by Selencky Parsons addressing plastic consumption and waste.<\/p>\n New for 2019: 100% Design is excited to collaborate with Material Driven to create Material Studio, a showcase of 22 innovative materials with a number of them being shown in the UK for the first time.<\/p>\n Live Manufacturing<\/strong><\/p>\n As tradition demands, you can expect enticing live craftsmanship displays at this year\u2019s edition.\u00a0On stand C5B, discover intricate wood carving techniques in the flesh with\u00a0Jack Badger.
