When we talk about Art Deco we must talk about Fenton Whelan<\/strong>, an award-winning multi-unique boutique, residential development in London\u2019s Mayfair where they can so easily and perfectly combine the Art D\u00e9co with contemporary living. In this Greybrook Penthouse, you\u2019ll find exactly this style, a mix between contemporary, luxury, modern and Art D\u00e9co.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since having been developed in the Grosvenor family, this affluent area has never lost its desirable status and has since then become, not just one of the most expensive areas in London, but in ranks among the most expensive worldwide. With its close proximity to the centre of <\/span>London<\/span>, seemingly endless luxury Georgian townhouses, leafy streets and high-end establishments it is no wonder why it has kept this reputation since its founding<\/span>. It is always important to refer to how you feel when you enter the<\/span>\u00a0living <\/b>space<\/span><\/i> and see the bespoke furniture that is framed by stained glass windows, so clean and full of brightness. You can also see the Bulthaup <\/span>kitchen<\/b> that is just juxtaposed with the coolest green breakfast room upholstery, immediately creating an iconic entertaining space with a classic bar area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The interior design firm had their mindset\u00a0<\/span>to one bar chair that would be one of a kind, a statement piece. Just like they said in a quick interview: \u201cThe interior design was to reprise to spectacular effect the Art Deco theme of the building and the design language found within Claridge\u2019s Hotel opposite. It was also extremely important to find a seamless blend between of one of history\u2019s most recognizable design periods with that of contemporary living and the Russel Bar Chair fit perfectly to that theme.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The point was to maintain the original character of the building while also inserting character, personality, and uniqueness through bespoke furniture that tells a story.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Impossible not to notice the class, the elegance of the <\/span>master suite<\/b> that can be seen in the lacquered finish wardrobes and the Alcantara upholstered headboard. The master ensuite is framed by the Noir Saint Laurent book matched feature wall and marbled pattern flooring. Four further ensuite bedrooms contain upholstered headboards, book matched marble and bespoke joinery. A beautiful marble staircase leads to the access to the private roof terrace with views of London. A second formal terrace is situated to the rear with decking and frameless glass balustrading.<\/span><\/p>\n
