There are no walls, no hotel property. What you\u2019re getting is a bed with a couple of nightstands and lamps. But what you\u2019re paying for is the incredible view that comes from sleeping on a\u00a0Swiss mountainside without a roof over your head or walls boxing you in.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t find a bathroom on-premises (however there is a public restroom 10 minutes away from the hotel), but you will get a butler-delivered salami sandwich and coffee in the morning.<\/p>\n

Guests be warned: While the room is bookable every night between spring and fall, there\u2019s a chance your reservation could be cancelled at the last minute due to poor weather. The price to spend a night in this hotel is around $250.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first quirky property from Null Stern founders Frank and Patrik Riklin. The name of the company translates to mean \u2018zero stars\u2019.<\/p>\n

And, most unusually as their slogan, \u2018the only star is you\u2019 suggests this hospitality group strives for zero stars. However, playing with words, this new Alps venture lets guests sleep under millions of stars.<\/p>\n

Really the Riklin\u2019s define as conceptual artists that use hotels as their means of expression. Hence, their previous endeavour, which saw them transform a former nuclear bunker in Swiss city Teufen into a hotel.<\/p>\n
