Maison & Objet is going on its fourth day, and now it is time to find out what happened over the weekend at Paris Nord Villepinte.<\/h2>\n

The Parisian exhibition center<\/strong> first opened its doors on the 7th of September at 9.30AM local time, and so far three successful days have passed during the second edition of the year of Maison & Objet<\/strong>. The Rising Talents Conference<\/em><\/h4>\n

The six awarded Rising Talents<\/strong> of the September edition of Maison & Objet came together at L\u2019Espace Conf\u00e9rences in Hall 7<\/strong> to talk about their path through the world of design across the years.<\/p>\n

All the way from Lebanon<\/strong>, these six promising designers were gathered at Hall 7 on Saturday, the 8th of September at 11.30AM and we got the amazing chance to hear them. The six designers talked about how, for them, it has been more difficult to create within their reality, simple because Lebanon doesn\u2019t have such a strong design and architectural\u00a0heritage as Italy, for example. The find themselves having to get their references and inspiration<\/strong> elsewhere, which, in a way, makes them absolutely free to do whatever they want.<\/p>\n

As the Rising Talent awarded designers were talking, their intention of having at least a\u00a0small impact, or change something<\/strong> to be different and create something unique was clear and it resonated with everyone in the audience.<\/p>\n

However, not everything comes easy for the young designers, who actually told the audience that one of the struggles they go through in Beirut is having to deal with production expenses<\/strong>, which can come quite pricey in the capital of Lebanon. The designers entrusted us that most of the time, they have to encourage their own production in order to get their designs finished and out in the market.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, in the end, and taking into account the ongoing political issues they have to keep facing in their\u00a0country, they do believe they are all \u201csailing in the same direction, that they are designers that work together with a common goal.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Best of Hall 6<\/em><\/h4>\n

As for Hall 6, one of the biggest halls at Paris Nord Villepinte, a lot was happening over the weekend. One of the most visited stands at Hall 6 was, of course, Seletti<\/strong>. The Italian\u00a0design brand naturally keeps on\u00a0wowing<\/em> everyone that passes by Hall 6, and it is extremely hard to stay indifferent to their creations, so make sure to pass by their stand and snap a few pictures.<\/p>\n

Aside from Seletti, Hall 6 was packed with design professional<\/strong>s, lovers<\/strong> and even PR\u2019s who were looking for the freshest looks and latest designs by some of the biggest and most-renowned brands in the home decor world. Our favorite of the bunch? Essential Home<\/span><\/a>, of course\u2026<\/p>\n

Located in Hall 6 \u2013 Stand N112\/O111<\/strong>, Essential Home didn\u2019t have time to catch a break over the weekend!<\/p>\n

If you were there, and this was not your first time visiting Essential Home<\/span><\/a> and DelightFULL<\/span><\/a> at Maison & Objet, you might have noticed how the two brands presented a slightly different message for Maison et Objet September.<\/p>\n

The two sister brands wanted to show how versatile their pieces can be and, in DelightFULL\u2019s case, how they are prepared to deal with contract needs for big hospitality projects<\/strong>. As for Essential Home, the mid-century furniture brand<\/strong> wanted to convey a feeling of versatility<\/strong> throughout the house, showing all their visitors how an Essential Home piece can look exclusively unique in any corner of their homes.<\/p>\n
