This week we brought you a unique vintage interior design project by Lori Margolis. Lori is an incredible New York City’s interior designer who shares a big passion for beautiful things and has vintage style running in her veins.
Loris Margolis love for interior design started since she was a young child. The interior designer was raised by her mother in Manhattan and, from a young age, she began to grow this passion for the interior design world. She spent her childhood exposed to unique furnishings from all over the world and developed a deep appreciation for design, fashion and art.
Lori Margolis graduated from college with degrees in business and law. But she didn’t give up on her passion for interior design and had a smart move. Lori Margolis took advantage of the college’s experience for her career as an interior designer. How so? She used her college skills to turn her passion for vintage glamour and beautiful things into a successful business.
Lori Margolis talent in creating eclectic glamour for New York’s elite quickly led her to open her own boutique off of Madison Avenue called JBM Vintage, which specialized in only the finest vintage fashion.
Today we’ll be looking into some Lori Margolis astonishing vintage neutral scheme Park Avenue Project. We fell in love with this colour palette and luxury furniture, so we selected some vintage twist photos from the project to inspire you for your next design project in your mid-century home decor.
“One paint colour I find very difficult to work with is beige. This may sound hypocritical, given the fact that I love working with creamy beige fabrics and colour schemes, but when it comes to applying those tones on the walls (…)” – Lori Margolis
As you can see, Lori Margolis is a big fan of the neutral and soft colours schemes and, as can be seen above, the mixtures of beige and white tones create an elegant and balanced atmosphere in any living room.
She has become one of the most renowned New York’s interior designer thanks to her creative residential and commercial design projects. With a distinct eclectic, sophisticated, high fashion artistic flair, Lori Margolis Park Avenue Apartment Project leaves us enchanted and curious to see more. Right?
