Founded in Mumbai in 1964 by Noshir D. Talati, the premier consultancy firm has been growing and specializing in architecture, interior design, and construction administration for the past 50 years.
Wanting to stand out from the competition and excel as a company known for its dedication, transparency, quality, and service, TPA provided outstanding design services, delivered by a team of over 300 people comprised of architects, interior designers, engineers, draughtsman and support staff.
Having worked in many interior design and architecture projects over the years, TPA has gained an indisputable reputation as one of the biggest names in the design industry in Mumbai. Just by looking at the portfolio on their website, we immediately got a sense there was a lot to learn from them. These were the five big interior design tips we caught on as we reflected on their interiors:
1. Having a solid background can be a turning point for any interior
Sophistication is probably a keyword you will find across all of Talati & Panthaky’s interiors. And as we scrolled through their projects, we got a sense that it all might start with creating a nice, solid background that sets the tone for the entire design.
2. High-quality furniture makes a difference in the outcome
Another detail you can’t miss is the undeniable quality of all the furniture chosen for TPA’s interior design projects. Furniture is usually the central element in any interior, so choosing the right products can definitely make a difference in the outcome.
3. Mixing patterns and textures can make it or break it
Another thing we noticed about TPA’s interiors is how, regardless of the interior design styles, there were always different patterns and textures added to the mix. Deciding to entwine these two elements creates a powerful balance in the room, sometimes even making or breaking the decor’s outcome.
4. We shouldn’t forget a little greenery
Another important interior design tip we can learn from Talati & Panthaky is to never forget greenery. Natural elements are very important when designing a new interior, as they will create an organic balance between the outdoor and indoor ambiances.
5. Each interior should be seen as one of a kind
If you take a look at TPA’s interiors, you immediately see what they mean when they talk about dedication. Each and every one of the interiors curated by TPA have a sense of uniqueness to them, whether we’re talking about private or commercial projects. Although TPA’s sophistication watermark can be seen everywhere, you won’t find two projects alike.
