A mid-century modern house built in 1964, one of the 22 prefab houses conceived by the Alside Homes company, located in Michigan City, delights all the mid-century modern design lovers, an inspiration for those who admire the simple lines and pure forms.

“We knew we wanted to preserve this time capsule – it was too perfect to touch,” said the owners of this amazing house, Valentine and Bob Coscarelli, who purchased the home on 2016, just by watching it through facetime with their realtor.

With perfectly sized rooms, all the environment around it gives the timeless experience that you are supposed to feel when in contact with a mid-century house. All the interiors were untouchable and well preserved. There were minor changes like some furniture pieces that got replaced, others who were rearranged and the roof that was changed.

Basically, Valentine and Bob Coscarelli just filled the kitchen cabinets, brought some closes and start living in The Frosted House straight away.

As you enter the Front Doors you have one of the two glass partitions, that brings a different touch to this mid-century modern architecture, and the other one separates the sleeping area from the dressing section in the Master Bedroom.

And we couldn’t forget about one of the most used rooms in the house, the place where the owners watch TV and eat casual meals, the living room that is filled with natural light from all the windows.
