When you think of the United States, a lot of images come to mind, right? Busy streets, bright lights, movie images and scenes… There is so much information about the US, that sometimes it can be overwhelming!
Are you planning on visit the US but don’t really know what places you should go? Don’t worry! As passionate of the United States, we had to write an article where we could list what are the most amazing places for us, and the ones everyone must see at least once in a lifetime.

1. Central Park
Central Park is the most known and visited urban park in the United States and one of the most filmed locations in the world. It appears a lot in the entertainment industry.
Improved and expanded by the landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and the architect/landscape designer Calvert, Central Park was designated a National Historic Landmark.
You can see a lot of sculptures, statuaries and structures placed in the park.
The sculptures have been created over the years, and most of them were donated by individuals or organizations. A lot of the of the first statuary were placed by authors and poets, in an area now known as Literary Walk. In the middle of the structures, you can find Cleopatra’s Needle and Strawberry Fields, the most known.
2. Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, that we are sure you will want to see, especially at night due to the lightshows.
In 2017 the building was considered as the 5th-tallest completed skyscraper in the United States and the 28th-tallest in the world.
3. Bellagio
Bellagio is a resort, luxury hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. It is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International and was built on the site of the demolished Dunes hotel and casino.
Inspired by the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy, Bellagio is famed for its elegance. One of its most notable features is the lake with the Fountains of Bellagio, a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music.
The hotel also contains a Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. There are five seasonal themes that the Conservatory undergoes: Chinese New Year, spring, summer, fall, and winter.
4. Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park
Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park is an American National Park located on the island of Hawaii. It holds two active volcanoes: Kīlauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, and Mauna Loa, the world’s most massive shield volcano.
The park offers dramatic volcanic landscapes as well as glimpses of rare flora and fauna.
In recognition of its outstanding natural values, Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park was designated as an International Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site.
5. Grand Central Terminal
Grand Central Terminal is a commuter and intercity railroad terminal at 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, United States. It has intricate designs both on its inside and outside, lending to its landmark designations, including as a U.S. National Historic Landmark. The terminal is one of the world’s most visited tourist attractions.

6. White House
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States.
It may not have been home to the president until 1800 or even called the White House until 1901, but it remains a symbol of freedom and democracy throughout the world.
The official home for the U.S. president was designed by Irish-born architect James Hoban in the 1790s. Rebuilt after a British attack in 1814, the “President’s House” evolved with the personal touches of its residents.
The building underwent major structural changes in the early 1900s under Teddy Roosevelt, and again under Harry Truman after World War II.
Their most famous divisions are the Oval Office and the Rose Garden, and it remains the only private residence of a president that is open to the public and free of charge.
7. Times Square
Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment center and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue.
Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, is sometimes referred to as “The Crossroads of the World”, “The Center of the Universe”, “the heart of The Great White Way and the “heart of the world”.
Times Square is one of the world’s most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually, and approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, many of them tourists. You can see it a lot of the entertainment industry, just like Central Park.
8. Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City and is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States. Originally it was called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge and the East River Bridge.
It has become an icon of New York City, and we promise you that although it looks amazing during the day, it can be really astonishing during the night.
It was designated a National Historic Landmark and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
9. High Line Park
The High Line (also known as High Line Park) is a 1.45-mile-long (2.33 km) elevated park considered an icon of contemporary landscape architecture.
Created on a former New York Central Railroad in New York City, the project was led by the landscape architecture firm of James Corner Field Operations and has been redesigned as a “living system”.
10. One World Trade Center
This last one may be the most difficult place on our list, because you may not be able to control your emotions, no explications needed. We all know that this tower was built in honor of the original World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center Complex, and is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the 6th tallest in the world.
