For those who live in Mars, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is less than a month away!

The shows are going to take place all over the city from February 8^thto February 16^th. Men’s Fashion Week will be from February 5^thto February 8^th. New York Fashion Week is about to start, so get ready as soon as you can, because who knows? Maybe it’s your time to shine on the red carpet!

Not everyone can attend the major runways, unfortunately, and unless you’re a buyer or a press representative, you won’t be able to get the tickets. But guess what? As fashion lovers, we know the real show is on the street, not on the runway, and also, you can always go to the public shows and get amazed as well by the new trends that are going to be presented on the shows.

We are going to tell you some designers that you will want to put an eye on, and also some tips for you to get the best of the experience.

Of course, we had to start this article with David Ferreira, a Portuguese designer that focuses on the perfect symbiosis between tradition and modernity.

After completing the BA Fashion Design from University of Westminster London and working for well-known designers, David has won several awards for his collections, and now he is going to be present at NYFW First Stage, to get a chance to show his work and gain some notoriety. We are thrilled to see how his path is going to be in this fashion world.

Next up is PRISCAVera. Defined by a relaxed and elegant aesthetic, it focuses on the collocation of youth culture and traditional craftsmanship, what you totally love.

‘All Comes from Nothing’ (ACFN), was created by Eva Xu, out of a desire to create a more personal women’s wear line for creative lifestyles.

Inspired by the Chinese philosophy of simplicity and Minimalism art, ACFN designs combine the softness and draping found in natural fabrics with geometric shapes, creating versatile and unique looks.

Our last topic is not about the designers you don’t want to miss, but a tip that you should keep in mind.

If you are planning on going all dressed up, remember: the best part of this shows, is the streetwear. This is where the action takes place and where you get the chance to get noticed.
