When Tracie Butler first started her practice in 2001, she was setting out to become one of the best and most exciting interior design studios in Los Angeles. Eighteen years later, that is exactly what happened, having been commissioned several thrilling projects for “Hollywood’s elite, and everyone in between” through the years.

Working with dramatic and colorful palettes as well as more organic and natural monochromatics, Tracie Butler has found her style to be unpredictable, stimulating and visionary. This practical approach on colors and her intuitive and emotional attitude when creating a new project have granted Tracie Butler and her practice the opportunity to design exciting interiors that range from transitional to organic.

Tracie Butler is the founder of Tracie Butler Design.
The designer finished her studies in architecture at The University of California – Los Angeles before having interned at Knoll Studio, where she expanded her knowledge on textiles and furniture design.
Tracie Butler opened her studio in 2001 and has since been awarded ‘Best Bar Design’ by LA Magazine and ‘Star on the Rise’ from Pacific Design Center.
