Mid-Century Madness All Around ICFF!

Time flies and it seems like we reach the very last day around ICFF. We are already missing the New York morning view but let’s take a look at the mid-century madness atmosphere during the tradeshow!

Besides being a tradeshow especially for contemporary furniture, there is always space for that timeless design… Yes, we’re talking about mid-century!

Covet House flew from Portugal to introduce several design times and offer you the experience of time travel. You can start with luxury furniture and materials and, then, suddenly the ’30s are back!

One of the stops at Covet’s stand was Essential Home – the best stop for mid-century lovers, we must say. Loren Armchair, Florence Stool and Vinicius Side Table are the kind of pieces that are the personality that you might want to add. A great combination for a cosy corner.

This style didn’t come just from Portugal. The famous Dutch design style was in this interior design tradeshow too. Some time ago we would say that this style came to stay, but now, we are sure of that and we’re glad to see it everywhere. In ICFF, was possible to watch it in the pavilion dedicated this style and others around Europe.

Something very special about ICFF New York is the talks. And this edition was not an exception.

Why Some Designs Stand the Test of Time and The Dutch Touch were hot topics in this 2019 edition. Always a great opportunity to listen to the experts and see what is about to come in the decor world. One thing should stay in our minds: there are timeless designs that only get better time after time.

We already miss being surrounded by high-end furniture. There are so many highlights and we would like to start with the first: we still got today! After tomorrow, we’ll all have the memory of an amazing time with great styles, and this mid-century fever that, somehow, marked this season for us.
