IMM Cologne<\/strong><\/em><\/span> started this past Monday, the 15th, and promised to turn Cologne\u2019s design scene upside down once again. All for the right reasons! Hundreds and hundreds of interior design and furniture brands got together to celebrate design in the heart of Europe, and all we can say about the first day, for now, is that it was a major success and everyone seems to be loving Cologne and everything this friendly city has to offer! Let\u2019s step inside K\u00f6elnmesse<\/strong> for a few minutes and check out how the first day went\u2026<\/p>\n

With\u00a011 halls<\/strong><\/span> to go through, finding all the most exciting news at IMM Cologne<\/strong> might not have seemed like an easy task. However, if you had our latest IMM guide<\/span><\/a> with you at all times, this wasn\u2019t even a concern in your mind yesterday! And because you have probably hadn\u2019t yet the time to see all the halls, and today is a new day, we know for a fact that you spent the first day at the interior design show<\/strong><\/em> roaming around and very close to Hall 11\u2026 the most exciting hall of them all.<\/p>\n

While Essential Home<\/span><\/a> and DelightFULL\u2019s<\/span><\/a> stand is being a big hit with all the design lovers that traveled all the way across to Cologne to see some of the best furniture brands and trends, there were a few pieces that definitely caught their eye<\/strong><\/span> just a little bit more\u2026<\/p>\n

\"Keep<\/a><\/p>\n

Essential Home\u2019s\u00a0piece de resistance<\/em>, Monocles sideboard<\/span><\/a> was one of the biggest hits with all the passerby. The 007-inspired mid-century credenz<\/span>a<\/span><\/a> was displayed amongst many other mid-century furnishing<\/strong> and lighting designs<\/span><\/a>, yet it still managed to surpass them. With a sleek design, Monocles sideboard<\/span> takes us back to the late 1960s futuristic design that we all now connect to the space race. And while people at IMM Cologne usually go for more minimalist and industrial pieces such as DelightFULL\u2019s Sinatra floor lamp<\/span><\/a> (pictured below<\/span>), for example, no one could stay indifferent to such a unique looking design.<\/p>\n

DelightFULL\u2019s Sinatra floor lamp<\/span><\/a> stood out for its classic color block of blue, red, and yellow.<\/em><\/p>\n

Another major hit was DelightFULL\u2019s Graphic collection<\/span><\/a>! With dozens of letters, numbers, and symbols to choose from, these marquee lamps by the mid-century lighting brand were everywhere in Stand D.003<\/strong><\/span>! Versatile, the biggest feedback was how much of a statement they create in every interior, or outdoor space they are placed in! Definitely, a trend to keep an eye on!<\/p>\n

Keeping up with this industrial vibe going on Cologne, what many of the attendees really seemed to enjoy was Essential Home\u2019s custom Hudson armchair<\/span><\/a>! Not only does this accent chair stands out for its classic design, this time, instead of the usual leather upholstered seat<\/strong>, what passerby were surprised with was a stunning custom fabric<\/strong> that took the industrial look to the next level!<\/p>\n
