BACK TO THE 1ST DAY:\u00a0WHY 100% DESIGN SEPTEMBER IS THE FURNITURE FAIR TO BE THIS WEEK!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The 23rd edition of 100% Design has opened with a bang and Olympia<\/em><\/strong> has rocked as trade professionals and press flood through the doors.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s theme was \u201cElements<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> and the interior design show celebrated all the parts that contribute to the success of a product, from the design basics to the components, from the materials to the development processes.<\/p>\n There were five sections:\u00a0Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Design & Build and Emerging Brands<\/em>. For the first time, the event hosted\u00a0Dealer Day<\/em><\/strong>, a professional programme of meetings, seminars, and talks.<\/p>\n Our favorite moments were spent at\u00a0DelightFULL\u2019<\/a> and Essential Home\u2019s\u00a0<\/a>stand that had the most astonishing mid-century vibe, where you had the opportunity to enter into a whole new mid-century world<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. The stand displayed all the brand\u2019s\u00a0newest pieces<\/a>\u00a0that looked dazzling.<\/p>\n The Portuguese brands brought plenty of surprises for everyone, showcasing exquisite design furniture<\/em><\/strong> and modern interior design references. Monocles<\/a><\/em><\/strong> has\u00a0as always captured the attention of all retro lovers and mid-century admires.<\/p>\n Our favorite talk was the very first one. The show opened with Michael Young<\/strong><\/em>, who appeared in conversation with 100% Design Content Editor Max Fraser. The\u00a0designer presents\u00a0his\u00a0latest design Roxanne, created with Italian furniture brand Gufram.
