The Collective Design Fair 2017 is an opportunity to explore the significance of design and art across creative disciplines and everyday life.<\/h2>\n

The Collective Design Fair 2017<\/strong><\/em> has taken a place in New York. For its fifth edition, the Collective Fair brought together a curated selection of design-focused galleries from around the world. Their booths are mixed with site-specific installations by local designers and museums.<\/p>\n

This year, the fair has run from 3 to 7 May 2017 at Skylight Clarkson Square<\/a>, 550 Washington Street, New York, as part of the citywide\u00a0New York Design Week<\/strong><\/em> which is continuing until 23 June 2017.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Collective Design Fair<\/a><\/strong>\u00a02017\u00a0<\/b> presents an exciting program of special installations, curator-led tours, and Collective Conversations featuring artists, gallerists, educators and cultural innovators exploring vital topics in the field of culture. FAIR<\/em><\/h3>\n

In October 2014, Interior Designer Brad Ford set up a modern makers craft fair in upstate New York called Field + Supply<\/a>. The focus was on modern, elevated craftsmanship showcasing artisans from the Hudson Valley area as well as makers who work in New York City and Brooklyn. FAIR is an extension of that concept and is now a permanent showroom at the New York Design Center. It is more edited and elevated than the original event, but the focus remains on high-end, handcrafted design and craft.<\/p>\n
