Egg Collective<\/a><\/strong><\/em> is a design compagny located in New York City. Their main goal is to create a strong\u00a0exhibition and to support equality and empowerment of women worldwide.<\/p>\n

The Collective gathered both furniture and homeware made by female designers<\/strong><\/em> throughout the city. The exhibition is based in a showroom in West Soho<\/a>. It also brings together famous designers and emerging talents across different design fields.<\/p>\n

\"Designing<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The exhibition is organised and hosted by Egg Collective<\/strong><\/em> founders: Stephanie Beamer, Crystal Ellis and Hillary Petrie. Considering the current situation and the political climate in the United States, they assume this is the right moment for this kind of exhibition. Moreover, gender inequalities are still increasing around the world.<\/p>\n

Many designers took part of this aspirational project such as Anna Karlin, Bec Brittain, Deborah Ehrlich, Hiroko Takeda, Caroline Ventura, Dana Barnes, and many others (see the complete list<\/a>). \u00a0All of them accepted the invitation to participate in the show, which coincides with the design season in New York (ICFF New York 2017 <\/strong><\/em>is ending today, learn more here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

It is important to emphasize that Girls, Inc. of NYC<\/a>\u00a0will receive 20% of the total amount of sales revenue, or it is possible to donate directly on their website. This association\u00a0teaches healthy living,\u00a0provides academic enrichment, and therefore they make girls independent. They inspire girls to be \u201cstrong, smart and bold\u201d.<\/p>\n
